Jain Sales Corporation

You can find us at 4/754 in Jawahar Nagar. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than the main markets. Jain Sales Corporation is run by just a few of us here. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time. The shop is on the ground floor and we live nearby, so we're usually around even if the shutters are halfway down. It’s not a huge operation. We mostly keep the essentials that people in the area need. Sometimes the shelves look a bit empty if the supplier is late, but we manage. We don't have a big staff. It’s just us handling the counter and the inventory. Most days go by pretty slowly until the evening when people get off work. We know most of our customers by their first names or at least recognize their faces. There’s no big sign or flashing lights outside, just a simple board with the name on it. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to fit as much as we can into the space we have. We don't really do deliveries, so people just stop by when they need something. The street outside is usually full of kids playing or people walking their dogs. It’s a nice change from the main road. Our shop is part of the house, so there’s no real commute for us. We just walk downstairs and open the doors. Sometimes we close for an hour in the afternoon to have lunch together. It’s a very relaxed way to run a business. We aren't trying to become a huge corporation. We just want to provide for our families.
