Jain Art Printers

We’ve been here at Godhan Ka Chowk on Tonk Road for quite a while now. Jain Art Printers is just a small place where we handle whatever work comes through the door. Most days it’s just us keeping busy with the machines. It gets noisy in here sometimes, especially when we have a few big jobs running at once, but that’s just how a print shop is. People around the neighborhood usually stop by when they need something copied or printed out for work or school. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s mostly just paper, ink, and us trying to get the settings right on the old equipment. Some days are slower than others. We spend a lot of time checking the colors and making sure the paper doesn't jam. If you walk past the chowk, you’ll probably see us or hear the presses going. We just try to get things done by the time we said we would. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes of paper and cleaning the rollers after a long day. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to do the job right so people come back next time they need a flyer or a receipt book made up. Tonk Road gets pretty busy outside, but it’s mostly quiet enough inside once the machines stop. It’s a decent living and we know a lot of the folks who live around here by name now. It's just a regular shop.
