It is a very crowded part of the city, so there is always something happening right outside our door. We do a lot of repair work and custom machinery stuff for people in the area. The shop is filled with tools, old engines, and bits of metal that we have saved over the years because you never know when you will need a specific bolt or bracket. It is a bit dark inside, and there is always the smell of oil and old metal hanging in the air. We do not have a big staff, just a few guys who really understand how engines and mechanical parts fit together. People bring in things that are broken and we see if we can get them running again. It is not always pretty, but it usually works. We do not have a fancy waiting room for customers to sit in. Most people just stand around and chat with us while we take a look at their equipment. The traffic on Sansar Chandra Road is always a mess, so getting things in and out can be a real struggle. We just take it day by day and try to help out the people who come to us. We have been here long enough that people know our faces.
