You can find Jaffry Embroidery at 172/223 Sanganer Sector 17, right on Kumbha Marg in Pratap Nagar. This part of town is known for its craft, so it is where we have always been. Inside the shop, there are colorful threads everywhere and different types of fabric piled up for the day's work. It’s a lot of detailed work that takes a lot of patience and good eyesight. We have a few long tables where the embroidery happens and the sound of the needles is constant throughout the day. People from the neighborhood often stop by to see what we are making or to bring in something they want us to fix. We don't have a big corporate office, just a workspace where the actual work gets done. Kumbha Marg can be quite busy with traffic, but inside the shop, we try to keep things focused. Sometimes the designs are simple and other times they are very complicated, but we handle it all the same way. It's a family-run kind of feel here and we’ve been at this location in Sanganer for quite a while now. We don't use any fancy machines for everything; a lot of it is still done by hand because it just looks better that way. We just spend our time trying to finish the orders and keep the thread from tangling up too much.
