Indian Art Villa

Indian Art Villa is based at D-278 in Bani Park, right near Maharani School on Meera Marg. Jaipur is a city with a lot of history, and being in Bani Park feels a bit more peaceful than the crowded market areas. Our office is often filled with the bright shine of copper and brass items. If you walk in, you might see someone carefully wrapping a vase or checking the finish on a traditional water pot. We deal with a lot of handcrafted items, so there is always something interesting to look at. The staff here knows a lot about the different metals and how they should be cared for. It is a quiet place most of the time, though you can hear the school bells and the sounds of the neighborhood throughout the day. We spend our time packing orders and making sure everything is protected so it doesn't get dented during shipping. It is a lot of manual work, checking each piece by hand before it goes into a box. We don't have a big corporate structure; it is mostly just us working together in this building on Meera Marg. We enjoy the work and the fact that we get to see these beautiful things every day. It is just a steady, honest business where we value the craft and the time it takes to do things right. We just keep doing our bit here in Jaipur.
