Our place is over at A-420 in the JDA Colony area of Malviya Nagar. It’s a fairly quiet neighborhood, but we stay busy with all the different things we’re making. We’ve got stacks of fabric all over the room and sewing machines that seem to run from morning until the sun goes down. Most of the time, the floor is covered in small scraps of thread and cloth that we have to sweep up at the end of the day. People from around Malviya Nagar stop by to see what we're working on or to pick up things they asked us to make. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that, just a workspace where we get things done. We spend a lot of time looking at patterns and trying to get the stitching straight. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just sit and wait or do what we can by hand until it comes back on. It’s just a handful of us working here, so we all know each other’s habits pretty well. We don’t have a big sign out front, so you kind of have to know where you're going to find the right house in the colony. It's a simple operation, really. We just focus on the clothes and the orders that come in through the week.
