Hum Tum Telecom

We are located at Raisar Plaza, shop G 40, in Indira Bazar. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets, especially when the weather is nice. The plaza is full of shops, but we have our little spot on the ground floor. We mostly sell mobile phones and do recharges or fix small issues with SIM cards. The shop is quite small, so if more than three people come in at once, it feels very full. We have glass counters where we keep the latest models and some older ones too. The walls are covered with plastic cases and cables. We spend most of our time sitting behind the glass. It is a lot of waiting for customers and then suddenly everyone arrives at once. We know the other guys in the plaza, and we often share news about what is happening in the market. We do not have a big corporate story. We just opened up here because it seemed like a good place to be. Sometimes the lights in the plaza flicker, or the floor gets dusty from all the foot traffic. We just sweep it up and keep going. We handle a lot of cash and small change every day. It is just a basic shop where we try to keep things moving along. It is not always perfect, but we are here every day from morning until the market shuts down at night and we go home.
