Heyrumbh International

Heyrumbh International is located on the 7th floor of Green House, which is over on Ashok Marg in the C-Scheme area. Being on the 7th floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below, which is usually jammed with cars and people going to the various shops around here. We have rooms 705 to 708, so we have a bit of space, though it often feels smaller once we get all the paperwork and samples laid out. We work in international trade, which means some of us are here at odd hours because of the time differences with other countries. The elevator in this building is a bit slow, so we often find ourselves waiting around and chatting with people from the other offices. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist who greets you with a scripted line. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from a computer and ask what you need. The walls are mostly covered with maps and calendars that have a lot of scribbles on them. We have a small pantry where we make coffee and sometimes heat up our lunches. It’s a functional space for a small team that has been working together for a long time. We just try to get the logistics right and handle the daily headaches that come with shipping things across borders. It is a lot of phone calls and emails, but we are used to the pace by now.
