If you head down Tonk Road and look for Taroon Ki Koot, you’ll find us eventually. We are located at Plot No-91 in Surya Nagar. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the other side of town, but the neighborhood is alright once you get used to the pace. Health Friend Organic started because we saw a lot of people asking for things that weren't full of chemicals. We aren't a giant factory or anything like that. It’s mostly just a few of us handling the day-to-day work in the office and the storage area. The desks are usually covered in paperwork and sample bags. We spend a lot of time talking to people who grow things and making sure what they send us is actually what they say it is. Sometimes the shipments arrive late because of some trouble on the highway, and we have to shuffle everything around. The office cat likes to sleep on the warmest boxes in the afternoon. We don’t have a big marketing team writing slogans. We just talk to folks who come in and explain what we have on the shelves. The air smells like dried leaves and soil sometimes, which is better than the exhaust fumes from the main road. It gets busy on Mondays, but the rest of the week is usually steady. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day.
