Hasanpura is a loud place. Being opposite the NBC main gate means we hear the trucks and workers all day long. We started this furniture workshop because we like working with wood and building things. It’s a simple shop. We don’t have a fancy website or a big office. Most of the space is taken up by half-finished chairs and stacks of plywood. If you walk in, you’ll probably see us covered in sawdust. It gets everywhere, even in our tea. We’ve been here at Hasanpura for a while now. The traffic near the NBC gate is always a mess in the mornings. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever orders came in that week. It’s not a modern factory with robots. We use our hands and basic tools. Sometimes a piece takes longer than we thought because the wood wasn't sitting right. We don’t mind that much. We’d rather get it done properly than rush it. People around here know us as the local furniture guys. We don't do much advertising at all. Mostly people just see the sign when they're stuck in traffic outside the gate. It’s a humble way to make a living, but we like the physical work. Every table or bed we finish feels like a good day’s work done. We stay open until the sun goes down and the traffic finally starts to thin out.
