HARSHJEEN HANDICRAFT PRIVATE LIMITED

We are over here at 69 Ekta Nagar, which isn't too hard to find if you know where Gujjar Ki Hotel is in the Dhabas area of Jaipur. Harshjeen Handicraft Private Limited has been running out of this spot for a while now. Most days start pretty early when the sun is just coming up and the air is still a bit cool. We get the tea going first thing because nobody really wants to move much without it. The workshop gets loud once the tools start clicking and clacking. It is a lot of hands-on work, so there is always dust on our clothes and scraps of material on the floor by noon. We don't really have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just some rooms filled with what we are making and people who have been doing this for years. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It is just how things go here. The neighborhood is mostly quiet except for the traffic near the main road. We see the same faces every day, people walking to the hotel for lunch or just passing by. It is a simple setup really. We just focus on getting the orders done and making sure everything looks right before it goes out the door. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer, but we keep the fans going and just keep working through it until it is time to lock up and head home.
