Gupta Electronics

The shop is right here in Vidhyadhar Nagar Sec 1 on Mall Road at A-13. I usually get here a bit before ten in the morning to get the shutters up. It has been a few years now at this spot. Most days it is just me and one other guy helping out with the repairs and the heavy stuff. The fans keep spinning all day but in the peak of summer, even they do not do much for the heat inside. People from around the sector stop by when their mixer stops working or if they need a new bulb for the kitchen. We have shelves full of stuff, and sometimes it gets a bit messy behind the counter with all the wires and spare parts lying around. It is a small place but we manage to fit everything in. Sometimes the neighbors from the other shops come over for tea in the afternoon when it is quiet. Mall Road can get really busy with cars and bikes after five, so that is usually when the most people walk in. I try to keep things organized but when three people ask for different things at once, it gets a bit hectic. We do not really do anything fancy here, just basic electronics work and selling what people in the colony need for their houses. It is a steady life and we know most of the faces that pass by every day.
