Gupta Carpets (Jaipur)

Gupta Carpets (Jaipur) is situated at S-3A, Kabir Marg in the Bani Park area. It is a relatively quiet part of town, which is nice because we have enough space to move things around. Our building is not some giant warehouse; it is more like a regular house that we have converted to fit our needs. Everywhere you look, there are carpets. They are stacked in corners, rolled up against walls, and sometimes spread across the floor when we are looking them over. We have been here for a good number of years now. It is a family-run kind of thing, so there is no formal corporate atmosphere here. We just come in, have some tea, and get to work. Most of our day is spent checking the quality of the pieces or talking to people who are interested in what we have. We do not use any fancy sales tactics. If someone likes a carpet, they like it. The work is slow and steady. We do not try to rush things because that is not how this business works. Kabir Marg is a pleasant street to be on, and we have good neighbors. It is just a basic, honest operation where we do our best to stay busy and keep things organized. You will not find any shiny brochures here, just us and a lot of carpets. It's a bit dusty but that's normal for us.
