This shop is at 45 Tripoliya Bazar. It’s a place filled with sewing machines and parts. You walk in and you see shelves full of metal bits, thread stands, and heavy iron machine bodies. Tripoliya Bazar is always a bit of a chaotic mess, but that’s just how it is. At Grover Sewing Machine Co., we spend our days talking to people who make clothes for a living. They come in looking for a specific part because their machine broke down in the middle of a big order. We have to be quick to find what they need. There is no air conditioning here, just a couple of old ceiling fans that hum all day. The floor is stained with oil from decades of working on these machines. We don't have a website or a fancy catalog. Most people just know we are here at number 45. We deal with manual machines and the newer motorized ones too. It’s a lot of lifting and moving heavy equipment around. Sometimes we sit on the stools and have a bit of tea while waiting for the next person to walk in. It’s a simple business. We know machines, and we know the people who use them. That’s enough for us. The bazar is loud, but inside the shop, we just focus on the mechanics and getting things done right so that people can get back to their work.
