Grih Laxmi Beauty Parlour & Provision Store

Grih Laxmi Beauty Parlour & Provision Store is a bit of a unique spot in Jaipur. We are located at number 5, Khatipura, in the Pratap Colony area. What makes us different is that we run a beauty parlour and a provision store all in the same place. It started because I wanted to make the most of the space I had. On one side, you can find your daily groceries, soaps, and household items, and on the other side, I have my setup for beauty treatments. It’s actually very convenient for the women in Pratap Colony. They can come in to buy some lentils or milk and then stay for a quick eyebrow threading or a hair oil massage. It saves them a lot of time. The shop is always a bit busy with people coming and going. Sometimes someone will be asking for the price of flour while I am in the middle of a facial, but we manage just fine. It’s a very practical arrangement for a neighborhood like this. My family helps me out with the store part so I can focus on the parlour side of things. We’ve been here for several years now and have become a bit of a staple in the colony. We don't have any fancy signs or big marketing plans. We just provide what the local people need, whether it’s groceries or a bit of grooming. It’s a busy, noisy, and happy place to be every day. We just keep working and serving our regular customers well.
