Green Ages Food Organic

We are based in a flat on the first floor over in Krishna Sarovar Village. It’s plot number 64, right in the Mansarovar area. Being near the Iskcon Temple means we hear the bells and the music sometimes, which is actually quite nice while we work. Green Ages Food Organic isn't a big store or anything, it’s more of a home-based operation where we keep our organic stock. Flat 204 is where we do all the packaging and checking. It’s a bit tight with all the containers in the living area, but we manage. We spend our mornings weighing out different grains and pulses. The balcony gets some good sun so we sometimes sit out there for a break. It feels more like a house than a business, which I think makes it feel more real. People who live in the building sometimes knock to ask what we are doing. We just tell them we’re busy with the food supplies. The hallway is narrow, so we have to be careful when we move the heavy sacks in and out. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and pouring, but it’s what we do. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything, just a clean space where we can focus on the food. It’s a simple life here in Mansarovar and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
