Being near Kendriya Vidyalaya 4 in Prem Nagar means we see a lot of students and parents every day. Goyal Telecom isn't a massive showroom, just a small spot in Jhotwara where we fix phones and sell recharges. Most people come in because they cracked their screen or their battery isn't holding a charge anymore. We have a small workbench in the back where the tools stay. It gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we try to keep the glass counters clean. Sometimes we have the part you need right there, other times we have to tell you to come back in two days. We don't use fancy machines, just standard screwdrivers and a bit of patience. People stop by to ask for directions or just to check their balance. It’s usually loud with traffic nearby, so we have to talk a bit louder. We've seen phones change from basic buttons to these big glass things that break if you look at them wrong. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us handling everything from sales to technical stuff. If we are busy with a repair, you might have to wait a minute. We try to be honest about what can be fixed and what’s a waste of money. It’s a simple living here in Jhotwara, and we try to treat people the way we want to be treated. We don't have a website or anything like that.
