G.K.M. Cotton Industries Private Limited

G.K.M. Cotton Industries Private Limited is located over in New Mandi, specifically in Ward No. 6. It’s a pretty busy area with a lot of trade going on, especially with cotton. We’ve been operating from this spot for some time. There’s always a lot of activity around the Mandi, trucks coming and going, people negotiating prices. We focus on the industrial side of things. It's noisy and dusty most days but that's just part of the job when you're working with cotton. We have our machinery set up and the staff stays busy tending to the rows of equipment. It’s not the kind of place that looks pretty on a postcard, but it gets the work done. We handle the raw materials and process them as needed. The building itself is sturdy and has been here for a while. Usually, we're just focused on hitting our daily targets and making sure the loads are ready for transport. The New Mandi area is the right place for this kind of business. We don't have a big fancy office, just a small space to handle the billing and the phone calls. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out and get back to work. It’s a straightforward life here in Ward No. 6. We know most of our neighbors and we help each other out when the heavy lifting needs doing.
