Gems N Arts

Gems N Arts is located at Shop No. 724, which is down Koyle Wali Gali. You have to go into Ramganj Bazar and look for the lane that goes behind Kallu Hotel. Most people just use the hotel as a landmark because the bazar can be a real maze if you don't know your way around. Koyle Wali Gali is a narrow little street, and it can get quite dark even during the day because the buildings are so close together. Our shop is right there behind the hotel, so we always smell whatever they are cooking for lunch. It makes us hungry around noon. The shop isn't very big, and we have boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling. Working with gems and art pieces takes a lot of patience, and we usually have a few small lamps on our benches so we can see what we are doing in the dim light. Ramganj Bazar is always loud with scooters and people shouting, but once you step into our gali, it gets a little bit quieter. We have been at shop 724 for years. It is a bit of a trek to get back here, but it is where we have always been. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The address might seem a bit confusing with the repetition of Kallu Hotel, but once you find the hotel, you are basically there.
