You can find us at B-59, Khazne Wallo Ka Rasta, right in the heart of Chandpole Bazar. Being in such an old part of the city means there’s a lot of history and a lot of dust. Gaurav Moorti Shringar is a place where we deal with traditional items, and the shop reflects that. It’s a narrow space, and we’ve utilized every inch of the walls to store our goods. The street outside is usually crowded with shoppers and rickshaws, so it’s never exactly peaceful. We spend our days surrounded by the smell of paint and the sound of the market. It’s a very specific kind of work, and it takes a lot of patience. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. People mostly know us because we’ve been here in Chandpole Bazar for years. Our regulars drop in just to chat sometimes, which is part of the charm of being in an old market like this. The lighting isn't the best, and the floor is a bit uneven, but it’s home to us. We just keep doing what we know how to do, day in and day out. It’s a simple life, focused on the crafts we handle. We don’t make a big deal out of things. We just open up the shutters in the morning and see who the day brings in. It’s a grounded way to live and work while being part of this community.
