Our shop is in Raja Park, specifically over in Sethi Colony behind the Gurudwara. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main market area. We’ve been working with glass here at number 3 for quite a long time. The shop is full of glass sheets of all sizes leaning against the walls. You have to be careful where you step. We do all kinds of glass cutting and fitting for windows, tables, and doors. It’s a delicate job. One wrong move and you lose a whole sheet of material. My hands have plenty of small scars from years of doing this, but that’s part of the trade. We don’t use any fancy marketing. Most of our customers are locals from Raja Park or people who heard about us from their neighbors. We have a couple of guys who help with the deliveries and the installations. It's heavy work, especially when we have to carry large mirrors up narrow stairs. We just open up, take the measurements, and get to cutting. There is a certain rhythm to it. The sound of the glass cutter is something I’ve heard every day for years. We aren't a big factory; we’re just a small shop tucked away behind the Gurudwara. We keep things simple and try to do a decent job with every piece of glass that goes out of our door. That’s really all there is to it.
