Eminent Jewel N Arts

Our little shop, Eminent Jewel N Arts, is tucked away in Jaipur at 18/A Ganesh Colony in Badanpura. Jaipur is famous for jewelry, and we are just one small part of that tradition. We don’t have a big shiny showroom with security guards at the door or bright lights. It’s more of a workshop feel where we work on different pieces and artsy items. The neighborhood is pretty traditional, and we like it that way. We spend a lot of time sitting at our benches, working with our hands. It’s slow work and you have to have a lot of patience for it. Sometimes a piece doesn’t turn out how we wanted, so we have to start over from scratch. That’s just part of the process and we don't mind. We’ve been in Ganesh Colony for a while and the people around here know us. We aren't looking to become some global brand or anything. We just want to make nice things that people in Jaipur and nearby want to buy. The shop can be a bit dusty because of the materials we use, but we try to keep it organized enough to work. It’s a humble place, honestly. We have our tea together in the afternoons and talk about what needs to be finished before the sun goes down. It’s a good way to spend the day, making things that have a bit of character to them without overthinking it.
