G R Lamination

Our shop is over at 52 Harmada Road No 17 V Manu Vihar. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for the lamination machines and a bit of storage for the materials. Usually, it smells like warm plastic in here because we keep the heaters running most of the day. People bring in all sorts of stuff, like certificates or old photos they don’t want to get ruined. We spend a lot of time making sure the edges are straight and there aren't any bubbles in the film. The road outside can get pretty dusty, especially in the afternoons, so we have to clean the tables often. Being in Manu Vihar means we see a lot of the same faces from around the Harmada area. It’s mostly just routine work, day in and day out. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the business name on the front. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit before we can finish a job. It happens. We just sit there and wait for the lights to come back on. Most people don’t mind waiting a few extra minutes. It’s a quiet life here, focused on the small details of the plastic and the heat. We keep things simple because that’s what works for a lamination place. It’s just us doing what we know how to do on Harmada Road. We usually have some tea while we wait for the machines to warm up.
