G M Telecom

You can find G M Telecom over at number 139 on Baba Harish Chandra Marg, which is right in the Indira Bazar area. It is a busy spot, especially in the afternoons when everyone is out running errands. We mostly focus on mobile phones and the various bits and pieces that go with them. The shop is cozy, maybe a bit too small when four or five people come in at once. We have a glass counter where we keep the latest gadgets and some used ones too. People often come in because they dropped their phone and need a quick fix or just a new screen guard. We don't have a big staff, just us locals who know a thing or two about electronics. The street outside is always full of rickshaws and honking cars, so it is never quiet here. We have a small stool for customers to sit on if they are waiting for a recharge or a repair. It is not a fancy showroom with carpets. It is a working shop with tools and wires sitting around. We try to be honest about what can be fixed and what is a waste of money. Most of our customers live nearby, so we see the same faces every week. We keep a small toolkit behind the counter for minor adjustments. Sometimes we can't fix a phone and we just tell the customer the truth. It is just a regular shop.
