In Jaipur, we are situated at 210 Devi Nagar, right along N S Road. The pin code is 302019 if you are looking for us on a map. This part of the city is always full of energy. At Fabindia, we don’t really go for that high-polished look you see in the big malls. Our place is more about being a regular part of Devi Nagar. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the morning, so we usually keep the shades drawn for a bit. It is a simple setup with a lot of history in the walls. We spend our mornings checking the latest arrivals and making sure the displays aren't too messy. It’s hard to keep things perfect when people are coming in and out all day, but we do our best. The staff here are mostly locals who have been with us for years. We talk about the weather and the traffic on N S Road more than anything else. There isn't any big secret to how we operate. We just stay open during the usual hours and try to keep the place comfortable for whoever walks through the door. It feels like a second home to many of us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or fancy promises. We are just here in Jaipur, working away and looking forward to the cooler evenings.
