If you head over to the Jaipur Textile Market on Mahal Road in Malviya Nagar, you’ll find us in the basement. Our shop is LG 70. Eticaret Ownstore is mostly about handling the online side of things, but we have this physical spot too. It’s a bit of a maze in the market. There aren't any windows down here, so we sometimes lose track of time. We’re usually surrounded by packing tape, bubble wrap, and cardboard boxes. It’s a lot of clicking on computers and printing out labels. Sometimes the internet goes down, and we’re all just standing around waiting for it to come back. The market is always loud with people shouting and carts being pushed around. We get a lot of dust from the hallway, so we’re constantly cleaning the screens. It’s not a very pretty office. We have wires running everywhere and stacks of inventory reaching the ceiling. It’s a bit overwhelming when a big sale happens and we have hundreds of orders to pack. We grab lunch from the food stalls nearby, usually whatever is quickest. Our team is small, just a few of us trying to keep up with the pace of the internet. It’s tiring work, especially on the eyes, but we’ve got a good rhythm going now. We just focus on getting the right items into the right boxes every single day without mistakes.
