Essen Crafts

Essen Crafts is located at Shop No. 26 in Maryam Palace. If you are familiar with Chameliwala Market, we are right there, opposite the G.P.O. on M.I. Road. It’s a very busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise from the traffic and people going to the post office. Our shop is where we keep all the craft items we’ve collected. It’s not a very big shop, but we make the most of the space we have. I usually open up in the morning and stay until late. We get a mix of people coming in—some are tourists looking for a souvenir and others are locals who just need something for their home. M.I. Road is a good place to be, even if parking is a nightmare most of the time. We don't have a big team, usually it's just me or one other person helping out. We spend time dusting the shelves and rearranging things so people can see what we have. It’s a bit cluttered, but that’s part of the charm, I guess. We don't have a website or anything fancy; we just rely on people seeing us as they walk by. It’s been our spot for a good while and we plan to stay right here in Chameliwala Market for as long as we can. It’s a steady way to spend the day. I’ll probably be here tomorrow too.
