Our office is located at Plot No 9 A, over in Sector 19 of Mansarovar. It’s actually directly opposite the Kandeshwar Railway Station, so we hear the trains coming and going all day long. It’s a sound you eventually stop noticing after you’ve worked here for a few months. Being so close to the station means there’s always a stream of people walking past our door, especially during the commute hours. We focus on homes and real estate, and having the office right here on the plot makes it easy for us to keep track of what’s happening in the sector. The building is pretty basic, just a functional space where we keep our files and meet with people who are looking for a place to stay. It’s not a corporate headquarters by any means, just a local enterprise trying to get the job done. We have a few desks, some old calendars on the wall, and usually a stack of newspapers near the door. The area around Sector 19 is still developing in some ways, so there’s often construction noise mixed with the train sounds. It’s a busy, active part of town to be in, and we like being right in the thick of it rather than tucked away somewhere quiet. Most of us take the train ourselves, so the location is actually quite handy.
