Drilkon Pvt Ltd operates out of 19 B Kalwar Road in Amar Nagar, right near the Sanskar School. It's a busy part of the road so there is always a lot of traffic passing by our front door. We mostly deal with drilling equipment and parts that people need for big projects. It's not a very clean job so the office usually has a bit of dust on the desks no matter how much we wipe them down. My desk is covered in papers and catalogs for different machine parts that we keep in stock. Being so close to the school means we have to be careful when the buses are coming and going because it gets crowded. We’ve been at this Amar Nagar location for a while now and most of the neighbors know us by name. It’s a practical business where we focus on getting the right tools to the workers who need them. Sometimes the phones ring off the hook and other days it is just us sitting around checking the inventory levels. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know how the machinery works. If you're looking for the place, look for the sign near the school gate. We just try to get the work done every day and keep things moving. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and technical talk but that is just how the day goes for us at Drilkon.
