Dinesh Communication

Working in Jhotwara Industrial Area is different from the main market. Our shop, Dinesh Communication, is at H/159 in the Parna Industrial Area. Most of our customers are workers from the nearby factories who need their phones fixed or want a quick recharge. The surroundings are mostly warehouses and workshops, so it gets quite noisy with the sound of machines and trucks passing by. We keep a stock of basic accessories like chargers, earphones, and screen guards. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped because we have a lot of old parts and boxes stacked up. I’ve been sitting at this counter for several years now. It is a straightforward job. Someone brings in a phone with a cracked screen or a battery that won’t charge, and I see what I can do. If I can’t fix it right away, I tell them to come back the next evening. There’s no air conditioning here, just a ceiling fan that works hard all day. We deal with a lot of dust because of the industrial setting, so I’m always cleaning the glass display. It’s an honest way to make a living. We don't try to act like a big corporate store. We just provide what the people in this specific area need. Most of the time, I’m just chatting with regular customers while repairing a handset or explaining a data plan. The hours are long, but it keeps me busy and pays the bills.
