Deepika Communications

Our shop, Deepika Communications, is located at Kiranpath 7 in Mansarovar. It’s a decent-sized place in a part of town that has grown a lot lately. We spend our days surrounded by chargers, sim cards, and different types of phones. Being at Kiranpath 7 means we get a lot of students and families coming in since there are schools and houses all around. The shop isn't anything spectacular to look at, just four walls with shelves and a counter. We spend a lot of time just talking to neighbors who stop in to say hello. Sometimes the inventory takes up more space than we have, so we end up stacking boxes in the corners. It’s just how we run things here. We don’t use any complicated systems, just a simple logbook and a bit of patience. Mansarovar is a big area, but our little corner at number 7 feels quite small and familiar. We usually start the day with a bit of dusting because the road outside can be quite dry. We stay open until late evening most days. It’s not a high-pressure environment; we just take things as they come. If a phone needs looking at, we look at it. If someone needs a new cable, we find it for them. That is the whole story of our daily life here. We just try to stay helpful to the people around us and keep the shop running smoothly.
