You’ll find Dee Dee Garlic Pvt. Ltd. over at number 10 in Shyampuri, which is in the Jhotwara area. We’ve been working with garlic here for a long time. As you can probably guess, the smell of garlic is pretty much part of the building now, and you can usually tell you’re close to our place just by following your nose. Shyampuri is a busy neighborhood, and Jhotwara always has a lot of traffic and people moving about. Our setup is pretty basic. We have a space where we receive the garlic, sort through it, and get it ready for whatever comes next. It’s a lot of manual work, and our hands are usually busy from the moment we open up in the morning. We don’t have a big corporate office with air conditioning and fancy chairs. It’s just a practical workspace where we can focus on the product. We’ve been part of this community for years, and we know most of the other business owners nearby. We don’t really bother with mission statements or big promises. We just try to get the garlic processed and out the door on time. It’s a messy job sometimes, and it definitely keeps us on our toes. The local tea stall is where we usually take our breaks and catch up on the news. It’s just a normal, everyday business running in a normal, everyday part of the city. We keep it simple and just do the job.
