Daksh Mobile Point

You can find us at number 40 on Sansar Chandra Road. It’s a small shop, squeezed in between a few other stores, so you might miss it if you aren't looking. Daksh Mobile Point is where I spend most of my day, usually hunched over a desk with a tiny screwdriver. People come in with cracked screens or phones that won't charge anymore. It’s amazing how much dust gets inside these things. I’ve been working on phones since the old button ones were popular. Now everything is glass and very fragile. I try to get things fixed quickly because I know people can’t live without their phones for even an hour. Sometimes I have to tell people their phone is beyond saving, which is never fun. We sell some covers and chargers too, just the basic stuff people need. The street outside is always loud with bikes and people shouting, but inside it’s mostly just me listening to the radio while I work. I don't have a big staff, maybe just one person to help when it gets busy in the afternoons. It’s a living. We don't do fancy advertising or anything. People just drop in when they have a problem. I’ve lived around here my whole life, so I know most of the neighbors. It’s a decent spot to be and keeps me busy enough from morning until the shutters go down.
