D K Association is based in Indira Bazar, specifically at Bhindon Ka Rasta after you pass the first circle and Tontwal Bhawan. If you know the old city, you know how narrow the lanes can get and how crowded it feels on a Saturday afternoon. Our office is tucked away in one of those traditional buildings that has been around for decades. It’s got high ceilings and a bit of a musty smell from all the old files we keep. We don't have a fancy glass front or bright neon signs. It’s just a wooden door and a small sign that lets people know they found the right place. Inside, there are a couple of old fans that creak while they spin and plenty of chairs for people who come by to talk. We handle a lot of paperwork and administrative stuff for folks in the neighborhood. It’s the kind of place where people stop in just to say hello or ask for a bit of advice on some local matter. We don't use much technology besides a basic computer and a printer that we’ve had for years. It’s a very traditional way of doing things, but it works for the people in Indira Bazar. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but our little spot in Bhindon Ka Rasta stays pretty much the same.
