Computer N Stationery House

Down at 1194 Churukon Ka Rasta near the Jaipur GPO, we’ve got our little shop. It’s a mix of computer stuff and all the pens and notebooks you might need. We started with just the paper goods but slowly the electronics took over more of the shelf space. Being a narrow shop in an old part of town, things are stacked pretty high. You have to be careful not to knock over a pile of printer paper while looking at the keyboards. We sell a lot of ink cartridges and notebooks to the office workers nearby. Since it's a family-run place, you’ll usually find my father at the front counter while I handle the tech side of things in the back. The walls are a bit yellowed and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound, but it’s home for us. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just walk in when they run out of staples or their mouse stops clicking. It gets really hot in the summer, but we keep a cooler running so the paper doesn't curl. We know most of the people on the street by name. The pace of work is usually steady. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in Jaipur, just a reliable one for the folks in this neighborhood. We often stay open a little later if we see someone rushing down the street toward us before we close the door.
