Classic Mobile World

You can find Classic Mobile World at 200 Ramganj Bazar. If you’ve ever been to this market, you know how hectic it gets with all the scooters and people walking by. Our shop is right in the middle of that chaos. We’ve got a small storefront that’s mostly glass so people can see the phones. Inside, it’s quite narrow. We have a few stools for customers, but they’re usually taken. The shelves are filled with boxes of different brands and accessories. It’s loud outside, so we usually have to raise our voices to be heard. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us working the counters and helping people find a phone that fits their budget. We don't do fancy promotions. We just show people what we have in stock. The floor is old tile and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but it works. Most of our day is spent unboxing new stock or explaining how a certain feature works. It’s a steady rhythm. We’ve been here long enough that we know the other shopkeepers around us. It’s a good community, even if it’s a bit messy and loud. Ramganj Bazar has its own rhythm. You have to be careful walking around because of all the handcarts and bikes. Our shop at number 200 is small, but it’s ours. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass because the dust from the street is constant. We don't have any big corporate backing. It’s just a small business that we’ve built.
