Baldau Organic Farms

At Baldau Organic Farms, we operate out of 5 Hari Marg in Civil Lines. It is a decent area, much quieter than the markets. Our office is in an old building that has a lot of character, though the plumbing is a bit temperamental. We spend a lot of time coordinating with our farm workers from this room. There are always crates and samples of different things we are growing sitting on the floor. It gives the place a bit of a messy look, but we know where everything is. Civil Lines is nice because there are some trees around, so it does not feel so dusty. We have a couple of desks pushed against the walls. We do not really have a brand or anything. We just care about the organic stuff we produce. Most of our day is spent on the phone or writing down notes in big spiral notebooks. We do not use fancy software for everything. Sometimes the old way is just easier for us. We have a small porch where we sit sometimes when the weather is nice. It is a good place to think about the next season. We do not get many walk-in customers since we are on Hari Marg, but we like the peace and quiet. It lets us focus on the work. No. 5 is just a house that we turned into a workspace, so it feels very homey. That is just how we like it.
