Citi Mart Traders

At Citi Mart Traders, we are based at 210 Sawarda Complex, right in the middle of Khajane Walon Ka Rasta in Indira Bazar. It’s a busy spot. Every morning, we show up and pull up the metal shutters, which always make a loud grinding sound that echoes through the complex. The stairs up to number 210 are a bit worn down from everyone walking on them for years. We spend the whole day surrounded by boxes and stacks of paperwork. Indira Bazar is always full of people, so there is a constant hum of voices and vehicles outside. We don’t have a fancy office with nice furniture. It’s just a bunch of wooden tables and some old metal chairs that squeak when you sit down. We spend a lot of time just counting things and making sure the numbers in the ledger match what’s on the shelves. Sometimes we lose a pen and spend ten minutes looking for it under the desk. That’s just how it goes here. We get tea from the stall at the corner of Khajane Walon Ka Rasta and it’s usually too sweet, but it keeps us going. The walls are a bit stained and the ceiling fan wobbles, but it does the job. We don’t really do anything flashy. It’s just a regular trading life where we stay busy from morning until the sun goes down over the bazar.
