Out here near Bagaru Anaz Mandi, things move differently. It’s a lot of dust and noise from the trucks on the Link Road. My shop, Choudhary Telecom, sits right in the middle of all that action. Farmers come in after they finish their business at the mandi. They usually need a quick fix for a phone or a new SIM card. I started this place because there wasn't much around here back then. Now, the road is always packed. I sit by the door most of the day, watching the traffic go by. The sun can be quite harsh in the afternoons, so I keep the fan running constantly. It’s a bit noisy with the engines outside, but you get used to it after a week. I don't really have a big team or anything, just me and occasionally a cousin helps out. We handle what comes our way. Sometimes a person just wants to sit for a minute and drink water while they wait for their recharge to go through. I don't mind. It’s part of being here. The shelves are mostly just chargers and some basic phones. Nothing too high-end because that's not what people around here are looking for. It’s honest work and it keeps me busy from morning until the sun goes down over the mandi. It isn't much, but it's mine.
