Chothilal Vijaykumar

Being out here on Sikar Road means we see a lot of traffic passing by every single day. My father and I run things at Chothilal Vijaykumar and it has been this way for quite some years now. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the street, just a regular place with a lot of stuff piled up inside. We handle a bit of everything that comes our way and the inventory changes depending on what people are asking for lately. Sometimes the accounts get a bit messy because we still do a lot of things by hand in the big ledgers. It is loud with all the trucks honking outside but you get used to the noise after a while. We don't spend money on big advertisements or anything like that because most of our customers are folks who have been coming here since they were young. My nephew helps out on the weekends when he isn't at school and he usually moves the heavy boxes for us. The floor is concrete and a bit cracked in the corners but it does the job. We keep a small stove in the back for making tea when it gets cold in the winter. It’s just a local business trying to stay steady in a busy area. We open early because the morning air is better for working before the sun gets too high and makes everything hot.
