You can find us at H-7, which is basically under Hotel Pinksun in the Chameliwala Market on M. I. Road in Sakinaka. It’s a bit tucked away, so people sometimes walk right past us without noticing. We are Kambalwals. We have been in this basement-level space for a long time. It gets a bit cool down here, which is nice when the weather outside is hot. We deal with blankets and heavy fabrics, so the shop is always full of these big, bulky items. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the stacks reaching almost to the ceiling. We have some old fluorescent lights that flicker a bit, but they get the job done. My brother and I run the place together. We usually have a radio playing in the corner to keep us company while we fold things. The market gets very crowded on the weekends, making it hard to move the stock in and out. We have learned to do most of our heavy lifting early in the morning before the traffic picks up on M. I. Road. It’s a steady kind of life. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Sakinaka, just a reliable one where you can find what you need without a fuss. We keep our records in a big ledger book because computers always seem to break when we need them most.
