You can find us at number 12 in the Jawahar Nagar Shopping Center. Being in a shopping center means there is always noise and people walking by our front door. It’s a busy environment, and Bhansal Trading Corporation has been part of it for a long time now. Our shop is mostly filled with crates and boxes because we do a lot of trading back and forth. It can get a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives, and we have to stack things nearly to the ceiling. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here, and we often grab tea together in the mornings. The floor is old stone and shows the wear of many years of feet walking over it. We don't have any high-tech systems; we mostly use ledgers and keep track of things the old-fashioned way. It works for us. Customers come in and out all day, some just to check prices and others who have been buying from us for decades. It feels like a small community inside this building. Sometimes we have to stay late to organize the inventory so we can find everything the next morning. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady and we like the people we meet. We just keep our heads down and keep the business running as best we can with the space we have.
