Basmati House

We are located at G-2 in Ambedkar Colony, right in the Central Spine area near Bagawan Birlain. Basmati House is a pretty simple place. We mostly deal with different kinds of rice and grains. The shop is usually filled with the smell of basmati, which isn't a bad way to spend the day. We have bags stacked up almost to the ceiling. It can be a bit cramped when a new shipment comes in and we have to unload everything. We spend a lot of our time weighing out portions and talking to the people who stop by for their weekly supplies. Ambedkar Colony is a busy neighborhood, so there is always someone coming in for a few kilos of rice. We've been here for a while and have seen the area change a lot. The Central Spine is a good location for us because it’s easy for people to find. We don't have any flashy signs or anything like that. Just a basic storefront with the name on it. My brother helps me out on the weekends when it gets especially busy. We don't really do any formal marketing. Most of our customers are locals who live nearby and know our faces. We try to keep the place tidy, but with all the grain, there's always a bit of dust on the shelves. It's just a regular, everyday business. We open early in the morning and stay until the sun goes down.
