Our shop is at G-1 in the Chameli Wala Market. We are right near the Hotel Pink Sun on M.I. Road. It’s a ground floor spot, which is handy for moving things in and out. Being on M.I. Road means it’s always lively outside. We see a lot of tourists and locals passing by every day. Inside, we have a lot of different things for export. The space isn't huge, so we have to be careful how we stack things. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The market has changed over the years, but we’ve stayed in the same corner. We spend most of the morning unpacking things and checking for any issues. The afternoons are usually for meeting people who come in to see our stock. We don't use a lot of fancy lights or displays. It’s just shelves and tables with our items on them. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road outside. We just wipe things down and keep going. It’s a small team here, just three or four of us. We know each other well and we know the products. If you’re looking for us, just look for the sign near the hotel. We’re usually there from ten in the morning until late evening. It’s a steady kind of life, working in the heart of the city and seeing the world go by through the front door. We keep the kettle ready for anyone who stops by.
