Bal Krishan

We are located on M.I. Road, right near the Choudhary Hotel. Most people use the hotel as a landmark to find us. The business is named Bal Krishan, and it’s a name we’ve carried for a long time. M.I. Road is a very famous stretch, so there is always a lot of foot traffic and cars zooming past. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We don't have a big corporate office or a lot of employees in suits. It’s just us, wearing our regular clothes and doing the daily chores. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning things up. We don't have any grand mission statements or five-year plans. We just want to make sure the work we do today is good enough to keep us going tomorrow. It’s a simple philosophy, but it works for a small place like ours. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we often share a cup of tea in the afternoons when things slow down. It’s a friendly atmosphere, even with all the noise of the city. We aren’t trying to change the world. We are just a local business on M.I. Road trying to do right by the people who come to see us. It’s been our way for years and we don't see any reason to change it now. We just keep going.
