We have been running Baba Mobiles at A-61 in Indira Bazar for quite some time now. Every morning starts about the same way. We get here, roll up the metal shutter, and start wiping the dust off the glass counters. This part of Indira Bazar gets really crowded by noon, so we try to get things organized early. People walk in with all sorts of issues. Some have a phone with a screen that looks like a spider web because they dropped it on the pavement. Others are complaining that their battery dies before lunch. We just sit here at our bench at A-61 and see what we can do. It is not a very big shop, but we have enough space for our tools and the spare parts we keep in those plastic bins. Sometimes the noise from the traffic outside is so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard. We don't have any fancy uniforms or big signs. It is just a local spot where you can get a charger or get your phone fixed without a lot of fuss. On hot days, the small fan on the wall barely does much, but we keep working through it. We know most of the other shopkeepers around Indira Bazar. We often share a cup of tea while waiting for a repair to finish. It is a simple life here at Baba Mobiles. We just take the phones, fix what is broken, and hand them back.
