B L Main Saloon

B L Main Saloon is over at Pratap Nagar, specifically at the Mil Vatika Mod along Tonk Road near the Choki. It’s a busy spot and we see a lot of people passing by every day. The shop is nothing fancy, just a place where you can come in and get your hair cut without any fuss. I’ve got a few chairs and the mirrors are big enough to see what I’m doing. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but it keeps the air moving when the heat gets bad in the afternoon. I keep a stack of old newspapers on the table for anyone who has to wait a few minutes. Most of my customers live right here in Pratap Nagar or work nearby on Tonk Road. I’ve been doing this work since I was young, so my hands just know what to do now. We don’t have a big menu of services or anything like that. You come in, you tell me what you want, and I do my best to make it look right. The shop stays open late most nights because that is when the workers come home and want a shave. I usually have a cup of tea sitting on the counter, though it often gets cold before I can finish it. It’s a decent way to spend the day, talking to neighbors and keeping the shop going.
