Aapka Hair Dresser

You can find us at Shop No. 1 on Nakul Path in Lal Kothi. We are right near the new Police Headquarters, so we see a lot of officers coming in for a quick trim or a shave before their shift starts. Aapka Hair Dresser is just a small local shop. We have the usual big mirrors, the blue chairs that lean back, and that smell of aftershave and hair tonic that stays in the air all day. It’s a busy little street, and we like being right on the corner where we can see everyone passing by. The shop isn't anything fancy. We have an old television in the corner that is usually playing the news or a cricket match. People come here not just for a haircut but to sit and talk for a bit. We know about the families in Lal Kothi and what's happening in the neighborhood. Some days the heat is quite something, but we have a good ceiling fan that keeps things moving. We don't do all those modern fancy styles you see in magazines; we just do good, clean cuts that look decent. It is a simple business. We open early and stay until the last customer is done. If you're walking past the police station, you'll see our shop right there. It’s been our spot for a long time now, and we plan to keep it that way for as long as we can keep our scissors moving.
