Ascent Mobile

The shop is located at VKIA A-76, which is right in the middle of the industrial area. People who work in the factories around here come to Ascent Mobile because we are close by and easy to find. It isn't a quiet place at all. You can hear machines and heavy trucks moving all day long outside the door. Most people come in after their shift ends for the day. They might have a cracked screen or just need a new screen guard because they work in places where phones get knocked around a lot. We have different models of phones on the shelves, but mostly people are looking for something sturdy and reliable. It is a practical kind of place. I usually spend my time opening up phones to fix a charging port or showing someone how a new feature works on their smartphone. The lighting inside is just regular tube lights, and we have a couple of chairs for people to wait while we check their devices. It gets pretty hot in the summer months, but we keep the fan going. Sometimes the tea stall guy from next door drops by and we chat for a bit about the weather. It is not like those big air-conditioned showrooms in the city center. This is a working man's shop. We know our regulars by name because they come back whenever they need a recharge or a new cable. It stays steady throughout the week.
