I’ve been here at Fathe Singh Market for a while now. Shop number 14/15 is where I spend most of my day. It gets pretty busy around Jaipur GPO. People come in mostly for phone stuff, recharges, or when their screen breaks. It’s a small space but we make it work. I remember when we first opened, it was a lot quieter. Now, there’s always someone stopping by to ask a question or check out a new charger. The market has its own rhythm. You see the same faces every morning when the shutters go up. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but that’s just how it is here. I keep the shelves mostly full with whatever people are asking for lately. It's not fancy. Just a counter and some stools for when people have to wait. My hands are usually busy with a small screwdriver or a keypad. We talk about the weather or the traffic while I work. It feels good to be part of this neighborhood. Most of the time, I’m just trying to keep things organized. It’s hard to stay on top of all the new gadgets coming out, but I try my best. Some days are slow, especially when it rains and the market gets muddy. But then the sun comes out and everyone is back. It’s a simple life running a shop like this.
